Adria Ferries Overview

Adria Ferries was established in 2004 with the aim of resuming the popular Ancona to Durres ferry link, which was previously run by Adriatica di Navigazione.

Adria Ferries provides a ferry passenger service from the port of Durres in Albania to the ports of Ancona and Bari in Italy. There are currently 3 sailings per week from Ancona to Durres with an approximate sailing time of 18 hours, and 4 sailings per week from Bari to Durres with a sailing time of 8 hours.

	Book your ferry online and a booking reference will be sent to you by email. When you arrive at the port of departure present the booking reference number together with a photo ID and you will be given your ferry tickets.

ADRIA FERRY ROUTES

Vessel Information

Initially Adria Ferries operated from Durres to Ancona using the newly acquired "Egito Express", renamed "Riviera del Conero", which was acquired from the Adriatica group. The vessel soon experienced various mechanical issues which forced the company to charter another vessel from the Adriatica Group; the "Venezia". Adria Ferries also purchased a new ferry; the "Daedalus" from the Greek Minoan Lines. Adria Ferries renamed this the "Riviera Adriatica" and was quickly deployed on the Ancona to Durres ferry route. In 2006 the "Riviera del Conero" returned to operations along the Ancona Durres route, and in 2008 the "Riviera Adriatica" was deployed on Adria Ferries new route between Bari and Durres.


Adria Ferries History Adria Ferries bought and chartered 2 vessels to operate along the Ancona to Durres route, and more recently the Durres to Bari route.
