Bornholmstrafikken Overview

The Danish ferry company Bornholmstrafikken was founded in 1866 by local businessmen from the island of Bornholm. Originally the company was called 'Dampskibsselskabet paa Bornholm af 1866 A/S', and was commonly referred to as the '66' company. The company was run as a privately owned company until 1973 but Bornholmstrafikken is now a Danish state owned company. Bornholmstrafikken service is continuously being developed and improved for the benefit of the customer.

Bornholmstrafikken Routes Overview

The Bornholmstrafikken service currently serves the ports of Koge (Denmark), Ystad (Sweden), Sassnitz (Isle of Ruegen) and Ronne (Bornholm Island). The Bornholmstrafikken service allows passengers to arrive at the port only 10 minutes before departure.
