Holyhead Ferry Port is located in Anglesey, North Wales. It is a busy Ferry port with routes to Dublin and Dun Laoghaire in Ireland making it an important link for surface transport between England, Wales and Ireland. Archaeological evidence shows people have been sailing from Holyhead to Ireland for the past 4000 years.

Holyhead Ferry Port Services

Car park facilities include a long term car parking with a cost of £6 a day or £24 for 7 days. The main car park is located a short distance from the Holyhead Ferry Terminal, but a FREE Park & Ride bus service operates around the ships arrival and departure times. A short Term car park is available outside the main terminal building for dropping off and picking up passengers. The length of stay is restricted to 20 minutes and is free of charge. Cars are parked at owner's risk. The car parks are patrolled and have CCTV coverage.

By Car
Holyhead Ferry Port is located near to Holyhead Town Centre, and is reached by following the A5 from the Midlands, or by the A55 from Chester. From there, Holyhead Ferry Port is well signposted.

By Bus
There are frequent buses and coaches to Anglesey and Holyhead from England and Wales. National Express also offers a service to the Holyhead Ferry terminal.

By Train
The Holyhead train station is part of the main line making it easily accessible from the rest of the UK
