Oslo Ferry Port Overview
Oslo Ferry Port is situated close to Oslo
city centre. Oslo Ferry Port has 2
terminals, the south port and the west port.
The Port of Oslo is strategically located at
the top of the 100 km long Oslo fjord -
right in the middle of the most
industrialized and populated areas of
Norway. The Port of Oslo is an important and
busy port, and benefits from connections to
many continental ports.
The city of Oslo is one of Europe's oldest
cities, and was founded in 1050 by the
Vikings. In Gamlebyen, Oslo's old town, you
can visit the ruins and remains of Medieval
Oslo.
There is plenty to see and do in Oslo, with
popular attractions such as Akershus
Fortress, the Norwegian Museum of Cultural
History, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the
Viking Ship Museum and the National Gallery.
For younger visitors, there is the TusenFryd
amusement park, the Oslo Reptile Park and
the Natural History Museum.
This dynamic capital city offers a wide
range of activities from skiing and kayaking
to golf and mountain biking. Alternatively,
you can simply enjoy Oslo on foot by walking
alongside the river Akerselva or enjoying
the beautiful views of forested hills.
