Southampton Ferry Port is a major port located
on the South coast of England and is one of
largest towns in the area. The port of
Southampton has always been important to the
city, the docks being a major employer, but also
being an important port for cruise liners.
The city of Southampton is also very popular as
a leisure and cultural destination, many of its
charms include its nightlife, shops and its
history. For a more cultural tour of the city,
visit the Maritime Museum and relive the story
of the Titanic, or learn the history of the port
of Southampton, or visit the Southampton Hall of
Aviation to find out about the Spitfire which
was designed in Southampton. The city has many
other museums including the God's Tower Museum
and the Museum of Archaeology. For a more
leisurely tour, browse the shops at the West
Quay shopping centre and taste some of the
cosmopolitan cuisine whilst taking a break in
one of the many restaurants.
