Please Note : SpeedFerries limited
has regrettably been placed into
administration and therefore the company has
ceased operating between Dover and Boulogne.
However, the cross channel operator LD Lines
who took over the Dover / Boulogne route
have since been operating successfully
onboard their new fast catamaran "Norman
Arrow".
Speed Ferries Overview
SpeedFerries operate the all year, low cost,
fast ferry car service between Dover and
Boulogne. This service is the fastest ferry
crossing on the Channel - just 55 minutes.
SpeedFerries won "Best European Crossing
Operator" award in 2005 at the UK Telegraph
Travel Awards just 18 months after the
service was launched in May 2004. This award
features the biggest annual survey of the
British travelling public.

Speed Ferries Route Overview
SpeedFerries offer up to 5 crossings per day
between Dover and Boulogne (France). The
Dover-Boulogne route is also the most direct
ferry service from Britain to France and
SpeedFerries is the only operator to run from
the port of Boulogne.
SpeedFerries Fleet and Onboard Services
SpeedFerries' SpeedOne is a passenger car and
motorcycle ferry only - no coaches, Lorries or
foot passengers are taken onboard. Accordingly,
SpeedFerries' lounges, sundeck and shops as well
as the bar and café are all spacious and with
plenty of tables and seating available.
You will receive service at your seat, a
complimentary newspaper as well as a free hot or
cold drink and a pastry - fresh from a local
bakery in Boulogne.

priority loading whereby you can be on your way
