Yarmouth Ferry Port Overview
Yarmouth Ferry Port is situated in the western
part of the Isle of Wight at the mouth of the
Western Yar River, from which Yarmouth got its
name. The car ferry from Yarmouth is the
shortest crossing to the mainland, just 30
minutes. The rest of the Isle of Wight is also
easily reached from Yarmouth Ferry Port, either
by bus or by car. The Isle of Wight is ideal for
people wishing to go on cycling or walking
holidays, with beautiful scenery, but also for
people who just wish to relax.
